CSDS 268 - Externship with Deaf Children and Youth

Prerequisite: CSDS 255, CSDS 262, CSDS 263, CSDS 264, 3-12 units of CSDS 260, permission of instructor; and CSET must be taken and passed.
Student teacher candidate will have the opportunity to plan and implement instructional programs for Deaf and Hard of Hearing multilingual learners in a school for the Deaf for 8 or 16 weeks under supervision. The externship is offered at a school for the Deaf setting. Student teacher candidate will have an option to stay in on-campus residence or stay off-campus closer by for 8 or 16 weeks. CR/NC grading only.
