The Kremen School of Education and Human Development is a center for academic excellence and collaboration in the fields of education and counseling. Graduates will become community leaders who advocate for high standards and democratic values with attention to professional ethics and diversity.

Academics

The Kremen School of Education and Human Development focuses a tremendous amount of attention on students, academic programs, departments and the overall quality of education. We pride ourselves on the ability to prepare our students to become leaders in their field of study and to truly make a difference in the community.

Once a candidate is accepted and enrolls in any of our educator preparation programs, the candidate will be offered the approved program, meeting the adopted standards, until the candidate: completes the program; withdraws from the program; is dropped from the program based on established criteria; or is admitted to another approved program to complete the requirements, with minimal disruption, for the authorization. In the event the program closes, a teach out plan, which includes individual transition plans for each candidate as well as a plan for candidates and graduates to access their student records will be developed.

Advising

The Kremen School of Education and Human Development Center for Advising and Student Services is located in Kremen Education, Room 100. Our academic advisors, admissions analysts and credential analyst are here to help you through the journey of college. We promote student achievement and success through proactive advising, analyzing and processing local, state, and federal documents, and collaborating with all constituents. We provide timely customer service and advocate to increase students’ retention, graduation, and future engagement with Fresno State.
