The Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology can offer you the education you will need to be a leader in agriculture and related sciences in the New California. We offer outstanding programs in the traditional areas of agriculture, including animal sciences, plant science, agricultural education, viticulture and agricultural business. And, we offer excellent programs in areas which are uniquely related to agriculture, including nutrition and dietetics, food science, enology, child development, family science, fashion merchandizing and industrial technology. At the heart of the nation’s leading agricultural area, our 2,000 students
are attracted to a quality, hands-on education closely tied to our national-class University Agricultural Laboratory (UAL), research facilities, community and industry partners.

The Jordan College draws on its deep roots in the Central Valley to prepare students today to be productive, resilient leaders in a sustainable global agriculture and food sector of the future.
Advising
The Jordan College Advising and Career Development Center is located in Agricultural Sciences Building, Room 110. The Advising & Career Development Center is here to assist students in the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology in achieving their goals, both academically and professionally.
The resources and services we provide include, but are not limited to:
- Major, minor, and General education advising
- Academic Probation and Disqualification advising
- Access to internship and career opportunities
- Assistance with internship and job search strategies
- Skill development in resume writing and interviewing
- Resources to develop the skills that employers want in the new employees they hire
