Prerequisite: Mathematics placement category I or II. Students in Mathematics placement category Ill or IV must take MATH 3L
No credit if taken after MATH 6, MATH 70, MATH 75 or MATH 75A. Students in Mathematics placement category Ill or IV must take MATH 3L. Equations and inequalities; rectangular coordinates; systems of equations and inequalities; polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their graphs; complex numbers.
