ENGL 178 - Lesbian & Gay Literature

Prerequisite: ENGL 178 Prerequisite: ENGL 105  and WGSS 178 Prerequisite: WGSS 11  or permission of the instructor. 
(ENGL 178 same as WGSS 178 ) Discussion and written analysis of literature that explores lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer identities and experience. Also considers how cultural and historical forces shape current notions of sexual identity and community.
