CE 225 - Numerical Methods in Geotechnical Engineering Prerequisite: CE 123 , CE 123L , CE 125 , and CE 134 Covers introduction to programming, principles of finite element method, and principles of probabilistic methods in geotechnical engineering. Students apply various numerical methods in geotechnical applications (e.g., slope stability, seepage, consolidation) by developing numerical programs and using existing FEM software.
