FBS 160 - Assessing and Managing Risk for Violence

Prerequisite: CRIM 2
This course examines risk assessment and management of violence in correctional and forensic mental health settings. Emphasis will be on risk assessment as a decision-making process, including the role of specialized risk assessment instruments, case formulation, and integration of risk assessment findings into treatment planning.
