PH 297 - Professional Competencies in Public Health This course helps prepare students to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) Exam. Through a combination of text readings, online module sessions, and self-study, students will gain an understanding of these competencies and certain core concepts in the fields of public health, health promotion, and health education. Students will also submit an assignment synthesizing the competencies achieved in this class.
