NURS 132 - Maternal Newborn Nursing

Prerequisite: NURS 110 , NURS 110AL , NURS 121 , NURS 121L , and NURS 124  
Corequisite: NURS 131 , NURS 131L , NURS 132L , and NURS 145   
This course presents the theoretical base and related clinical knowledge of the normal and high-risk childbearing Family to the student. It explores the areas of health promotion, physiologic changes related to pregnancy, high-risk conditions associated with the perinatal period, and the development of the fetus and newborn.
