NURS 247 - Psychiatric & Mental Health Management Across the Life Span Practicum II Prerequisite: Admission to the program or permission of the instructor This second supervised practicum builds upon the foundation of Practicum I, offering continued direct patient care experience. Students further develop skills in advanced psychiatric assessment, differential diagnosis, and the integrated use of psychopharmacologic, psychotherapeutic, and psychosocial interventions. Clinical exposure includes care for individuals with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders, complex presentations, and mental health crises. Students are required to complete 180 hours of direct clinical practice.
