NURS 141LS - Practicum: Concepts of Community Health Nursing

Prerequisite: GE Areas 1A, 1B, 1C, 2 (Foundation) and Area 4 (formerly GE Area D), NURS 121, NURS 121L, NURS 140A, NURS 140AL, and NURS 142
Corequisite: NURS 141
Application of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention in the community with individuals, families, and groups. Service learning components are integrated to enhance reflection of caring for diverse population members. 90 clinical hours will be completed in the semester on a predetermined schedule.

Course Fee: $20 and CSU liability insurance fee, $8
