GD 170 - Typographic Design

Prerequisite: GD 41 and GD 42
Advanced principles of typography, including design of typefaces utilizing contemporary software. Exploration of sophisticated typographical projects incorporating commercial and student designed fonts. Emphasis is placed upon typographical experimentation.
