CSDS 221 - Seminar in Advanced Clinical Methods for Dysphagia and Traumatic Brain Injury

Prerequisite: CSDS 220  
Explores the nature and characteristics as well as the methods of evaluation and management of feeding and swallowing and the cognitive-linguistic problems associated with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Topics surround specialized populations (e.g., head-and-neck cancer, tracheostomy and ventilation, pediatrics, geriatrics). Provides hands-on training on evidence-based diagnostic and treatment of dysphagia and TBI.
