BIOL 273 - Applied Bioethics This course explores historical and modern ethical issues in order to prepare students to understand and to address situations they will likely encounter in biological research. Topics include responsible data management, publications and authorship, negligence and fraud, conflict of interest, and the use of animals and humans in research. The course will combine brief background lectures with case study presentations and discussions.
