Political Journalism, Certificate of Special Study

The certificate in Political Journalism is offered jointly by the departments of Political Science (PLSI) and Media, Communications, and Journalism (MCJ). It capitalizes on the strengths of both departments to introduce students to key issues and theories in media and politics and understand the connections between these two fields of study. This certificate will equip students with a deeper understanding of how politicians, diplomats, and policymakers influence and are influenced by the media in its various forms, genres, and formats, and prepare them for studying and analyzing the political world.
