Advising Notes

1. The Mathematics Department will maintain a list of approved courses. The Statistics Minor also requires a 2.0 GPA and 6 upper-division units in residence.
2. Courses in a major cannot be applied toward a minor unless designated as additional requirements.
3. Students earning the B.S. in Mathematics - Statistics Option cannot earn the Statistics Minor.
4. All courses in the minor must be taken for a letter grade. CR/NC grading is not acceptable.
5. All courses taken to fulfill minor requirements must be completed with a grade of C or better.
6. A minor may be earned only at the time a student earns the first baccalaureate degree.
