Sports Coaching, Minor

The Department of Kinesiology

The Minor in Sports Coaching is designed for students who are passionate about developing people through sport. This program specializes in preparing students for entry-level positions in sport coaching in the sport of their choice. Throughout the program, students will have opportunities to learn from and network with coaches and administrators across sports and levels of competition.

Students must consult with an adviser.
The Coaching Minor also requires a 2.5 GPA.
CR/NC grading is not permitted for courses included in the minor.
Advanced First Aid and CPR must be current at the time of graduation.
