Industrial Technology Minor Requirements

The Minor in Industrial Technology consists of 20 units of which 9 units must be upper-division. The program provides students with an introduction to industrial technology. Students will acquire specialized technical and management knowledge and skills. Students, in consultation with a department advisor, may choose from among the following courses:

IT 116 - Applied Visual Programming Units: 3
IT 117 - Quality Assurance Units: 3
IT 120 - Vehicle Engine Systems Units: 3
IT 131 - Automated Systems I Units: 3
IT 133 - Industrial Process Control Systems II Units: 3
IT 137 - International Quality Standards Units: 3
IT 156 - Automated Systems II Units: 3
IT 184 - Advanced Manufacturing Technology Units: 3
IT 186 - Applied Spatial Technology Units: 3
IT 190 - Independent Study Units: 1-3

Note:

The Industrial Technology Minor also requires a 2.0 GPA and 6 upper-division units in residence.
CR/NC grading is not permitted for courses included in the minor.
