Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements
The Bachelor of Arts in Dance program develops versatile artists and future leaders by engaging students in creative inquiry, embodied performance, and inventive collaboration. Integrating dance within a robust liberal arts context, students rigorously explore core components including performance, technical training, choreography, design, technology, and scholarly research to cultivate a unique individual artistic identity and the essential capacity to work collaboratively in diverse settings. This degree provides a comprehensive foundation, preparing graduates for professional careers in the arts and entertainment industries, further training at graduate schools and conservatories, or success in a wide variety of non-performance occupations that value critical thinking, discipline, and creativity.
