Other Degree Requirements
In addition to the major program requirements, every student must also complete the University’s baccalaureate degree requirements such as: A full description of the University’s graduation requirements can be found in the Baccalaureate Degree Requirements . Total Units: 120*
*General Education, Additional University Graduation Requirements, and Upper-division Writing courses can be double counted with major requirements. This includes PHIL 25 (Area 1B). See advisor for details. Advising Notes
- CR/NC grading is not permitted in courses used to fulfill the philosophy major requirements.
- Students intending to pursue graduate study in philosophy, law, or religious studies should seek a faculty advisor’s help in planning adequate preparation.
- Visit the Philosophy Department office or your faculty advisor for the list of approved T classes for the major.
