*General Education, Additional University Graduation Requirements, and Upper-division Writing courses can be double counted with major requirements. These coures include BIOL 1A  (Area 5B),  EES 1  (Area 5A), MATH 75  (Area 2), EES 102S  (Area UD 2/UD 5), EES 115S  (Area UD 4), and EES 104W .  See advisor for details.

Advising Notes:


  1. G.E. Foundation 2 is a prerequisite except for declared college of science and math major students.
  2. PSYCH 42 is a prerequisite for BIOL 101 .
  3. BIOL 101  is a prerequisite for BIOL 170 -BIOL 172 .
  4. Elective units may be used toward a double major or minor (see double major or departmental minor). Consult the appropriate department chair, program coordinator, or faculty advisor for further information.
  5. Students planning to pursue graduate study are strongly encouraged to take MATH 76  or EES 177  or EES 180
