The Department of Recreation Administration
The Minor in Hospitality is designed to prepare students to work with the lodging and entertainment industry, wineries, and entertainment venues. Students also pursue careers with travel-related businesses such as hotels, restaurants, tour operators, airlines, and event management companies.

Note: The Minor in Hospitality requires a 2.0 GPA and 6 upper-division units in residence.

- The following CSU Fully Online Courses can be used to fullfill 3 units of the elective requirement:
- CSU East Bay Courses: HOS 110 - Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism, HOS 200 - Lodging Management, HOS 225 - Technology in Hospitality and Tourism, or HOS 410- Revenue Management in Hospitality and Tourism
- CSU Long Beach Course: HM 170 - Introduction to Hospitality Management
