The Department of Civil and Geomatics Engineering
Geomatics Engineering is an integral part of every engineering project. Geomatics Engineers work closely with Civil Engineers to provide necessary data for design and work closely with Construction managers in the building process of the Civil engineer’s design. Adding the Survey Engineering Minor will enhance future internships and employment opportunities before and after graduation. The Survey Engineering Minor will bridge a relationship and communication gap that commonly exists due to lack of understanding of each other’s specific roles and how to accomplish each other’s responsibilities.
