Artificial Intelligence in Business, Certificate of Special Study

The Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences

Given the current business ecosystem and trends, the artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as one of the leading technologies and “must-have” for all sizes of business organizations. This certification of study not only widens one’s understanding of Artificial Intelligence, but also boosts one’s employment opportunity. This certification of study serves the Fresno State students, other CSU campus students and professionals.

Prerequisites

Before entering the certificate program, applicants will need to demonstrate that they:

Are conversant in computer concepts (equivalent to IS 52 and IS 52L at a minimum)
Have filled out the application form and sent it to csbstusupport@mail.fresnostate.edu

Note: Students majoring in Information Systems (or an equivalent program) are not eligible for the Artificial Intelligence in Business Certificate of Special Study. Students majoring in Data Analytics (or an equivalent program) should account for all elective courses in their subject area. Information Systems courses should not be assumed to count as Data Analytics electives.

A grade of C or better is required for all certificate courses
Each course prerequisite must be met unless the department approves alternative satisfactory courses
