Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential Requirements

Requirements to apply for the Preliminary Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential include:

• Completion of the requirements for the Masters’ degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Completion of 25 guided observation hours and 375 approved clinical clock hours, which includes placement in a school setting (CSDS 257 )
• Completion of the basic skills requirement (CB EST)
• Fingerprint clearance through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC)
