Literature of Diversity Minor Requirements

The English Department offers a Literature of Diversity minor with classes that focus the history and contemporary experiences of underrepresented groups.

Courses in the Literature of Diversity minor explore what is at stake in the reading, writing, and teaching of literary and cultural production that brings in diverse perspectives and explores their both commonalities and differences. The Literature of Diversity minor complements any major invested in understanding marginalized groups and their relationships to systems of power.

The Literature of Diversity minor requires 16 units selected from the following approved courses:
