Select one course from each of the G.E. areas: Area A1, A2, B2, D1, D2, F. (See G.E. listings.) The following courses are required to satisfy both G.E. and major requirements: MATH 75 [B4], PHYS 4A [B1], PHIL 1 or PHIL 10 [C2], GME 151 [IB], PHIL 120 [IC]. Only one C2 course in lower-division Area C is required. Geomatics Engineering majors are exempt from G. E. Area A3 and Area E
Other requirements (9 units)
American Government and Institutions (PLSI 2 ), Multicultural and International (MI), and Upper-division writing. Note: Geomatics majors are exempt from the MI requirement.

Advising Notes
- Courses in engineering, mathematics, the physical sciences, and mandatory technical courses taken CR/NC are not counted toward fulfillment of degree requirements in geomatics engineering.
- All geomatics engineering students must consult with their academic advisors at least once each year.
- All upper-division engineering courses should be completed with an average grade of at least a C.
