The department provides the foundation for graduates in early childhood, special education, bilingual instruction, reading/language arts, and teacher education. Our goal is to provide a foundation for our students to become leaders in education and highly skilled professionals. Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program:
The Elementary School Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject Credential)  is housed in both the Department of Curriculum and Instruction  and the Department of Literacy, Early, Bilingual, and Special Education (LEBSE). See below for a full list of LEBSE programs.
