AGBS 165 - Agri-Food Wholesaling and Retailing




Prerequisite: AGBS 1  or ECON 40  with a C grade or better
This course explores wholesale, distribution, and retail channels that move food from producers to consumers. It examines systems ranging from direct-to-consumer operations to large-scale distribution and global markets. Students learn to evaluate sales channels, apply demographic research, select distributors, and understand the models, practices, and strategic decisions shaping modern agribusiness marketing and food distribution systems.
