BIOL 145 - Fungal Biology, an Introduction to Fungal Diversity, Anatomy, and Physiology
Prerequisite: BIOL 1A and BIOL 1B ; CHEM 8 or CHEM 128A all with a C grade or better This course focuses upon the diversity, physiology, and ecology of Kingdom Fungi and other organisms traditionally studied as fungi. The lecture covers fungal anatomy and physiology following a modern systematic framework. Laboratory instruction is divided between direct study of fungal anatomy/physiology and project-based work generating a collection of fungal specimens. This course fulfills an upper division laboratory elective requirement for Biology majors. (Formerly BIOL189T)
