ITAL 20 - Introduction to Italian Studies

This course introduces the experience of Italians in American society. It examines identity, ethnicity, immigration, cultural heritage, and the impact of the Italian diaspora in the United States. Students will explore the contributions of Italian and Italian Americans to American culture and society and the challenges they have faced (taught in English).
