EES 115S - Climate Change Solutions

Prerequisite: GE Areas 1A, 1B, 1C, 2 (Foundation), Area 4 (formerly GE Area D) and PLSI 2
Climate change has far reaching consequences extending beyond the environment into political, cultural, and economic dimensions. Students will explore and reflect on climate change actions through an interdisciplinary, community-based lens investigating science pathways; societal transformations; governance; market instruments; technology measures; and methods for ecosystem management. This multifaceted approach includes 15+ hours of service-learning with a community-based organization, which provides a more meaningful, immersive experience, benefitting both students and the community.
