ME 134 - Kinematics of Machinery
Prerequisite: ME 26 , ME 71 , ME 112 , and MATH 81 or ENGR 101 all with a C grade or better Analysis, graphical methods, and computer-based solutions applied to the design of machinery and mechanisms. Topics include cam design and follower types, cam manufacturing considerations, and the analysis and synthesis of various gear trains. Emphasis on applying analytical, graphical, and computational tools to solve practical design problems in mechanical systems.
