Prerequisite: NURS 583 , NURS 584 , NURS 585 
Principles and concepts of epidemiology. Distribution and determinants of disease risk in populations across the lifespan. Approach to disease and intervention, identification of cause of disease, response to disease outbreak, disease surveillance, evaluation of screening and prevention, and ethical issues.
