GEOG 5 - Introduction to Weather and Climate



Prerequisite: GE Area 2 (formerly GE B4)
Introduction to atmospheric processes including energy and moisture exchanges; atmospheric pressure; global atmospheric and oceanic circulation patterns; precipitation processes; weather systems; and world, regional, and local climate systems, and climate change, and their collective impact on life on the earth, using analyses of data from many sources including charts, weather maps, radar and satellite imagery, and other data sources.
