GEOG 115 - Violent Weather/Climatic Hazards



Prerequisite: GE Areas 1A, 1B, 1C, 2 (Foundation) and Area 5 (formerly GE Area B)
Studies hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms, lightning, destructive winds, heat waves, drought, severe winter storms, and floods. Looks at physical laws and processes that account for their formation and behavior; examines human impact.

GE Area/Graduation Requirement: GE Area UD 2/UD 5 (formerly GE IB)
