CFS 153 - Science and Common Sense: Research Methods in HDFS



Scientific approach to the study of children and families. Topics include sampling, measurement, study design, and statistics. Emphasizes understanding the process of scientific discovery, clearly distinguishing it from common sense and pseudoscience, and learning to accurately interpret and evaluate research.
