BIOL 166 - Neurophysiology
Prerequisite: BIOL 1A with a C grade or better Provides a foundation in the workings of the central and peripheral nervous systems. Includes the chemical processes that occur within neurons, communication between neurons, how networks of neurons are organized and function, and how these changes lead to behavioral outputs. Emphasis will be placed on the role of in vitro studies or model organisms in neurobiological research.
