IT 103 - Fundamentals of Nut Processing

Study of fundamentals and operation of modern nut processing line. Topics include but are not limited to unloading, transfer system, washing, grading and sorting. Equipment selection, programmable logic controllers and other technologies employed in a state of the art nut processing line will also be studied. (Formerly IT 191T)
