WGSS 170 - Sex, Gender, Biology and Culture

(ANTH 118  same as WGSS 170.) A cross-cultural and interdisciplinary analysis. Examines theories and frameworks from across the five-fields of anthropology that explain variations in the expression and human experience of sex, gender, and sexuality, maturation, reproduction, and the life cycle. Also explores how biology shapes culture and how culture shapes biology.
