SWRK 278 - Advanced Policy, Theory, and Practice in Child Welfare Track I

Prerequisite: SWRK 281 
Corequisite: SWRK 282 
Examination of current policies, programs, and practices in child welfare in California and the United States including the socio-historical context. Attention given to new perspectives on the delivery system and staffing in child welfare and to the role that theory has in child welfare practice. Meets State of California pre-licensure requirements for child abuse assessment and reporting content.
