SPAN 116B - Advanced Legal Interpreting

Prerequisite: SPAN 116A 
This course builds on the existing knowledge of theory and practice of legal interpreting. Topics include advanced interpreting practice, code of ethics and professional responsibility, current trends in the field of professional legal interpreting, interpreter qualifications and certification, note-taking, and memory building skills.
