SOC 159 - The Sociology of Food Explores the social, political, economic, and ecological processes shaping people¿s relationship to food. Focuses on the role of culture and socialization in shaping our food practices, how food practices are gendered, raced, and classed, and the numerous inequities shaping the food system.
