SOC 174 - Computer Data Analysis

Prerequisite: SOC 1 or SOC 1S and SOC 125 for Sociology majors and minors must be completed prior to enrollment
An introduction to the use of widely utilized computer packages for analyzing quantitative data (e.g., SPSS) and/or qualitative data (e.g., NVIVO) in the social sciences. Prepares students for academic and empirical research. No prior knowledge of computers is necessary.
