REHAB 201 - Professional Identity and Ethics in Counseling This seminar provides an overview of the practice and profession of counseling. Areas to be examined include the historical, theoretical, legal, ethical and philosophical basis of counseling; supervision, professional organizations, credentials and trends of professional counselors. The course includes lectures, class discussions, guest lecturers, visits to outside facilities, reading and reporting on professional literature and experiential exercises.
