NURS 158 - Concepts of Older Adult Nursing

Prerequisite: NURS 140A, NURS 140AL, NURS 141, NURS 141LS, and NURS 142
Corequisite: NURS 150, NURS 150L, NURS 151, NURS 155A, and NURS 158L
Concepts and care of older adults in a variety of settings. This course is taken in the last semester of the Nursing Program and provides an opportunity for the student nurse to interact with adults 55 and older in the community, assisted living, and nursing home settings.
