NURS 248 - Psychiatric Disorders & Mental Health Problems in Special Populations

Prerequisite: NURS 246  and NURS 247  or by permission of instructor
Corequisite: NURS 249  
Assessment, diagnosis and management of common psychiatric conditions in older adults, children, adolescents, and diverse populations. Effect of culture on the expression of illness, help-seeking behaviors, and treatment. Addresses disparities in mental health care, legal and ethical issues.
