IS 130 - Information Systems

Prerequisite: IS 52 and IS 52L or equivalent
Use of information systems in business activities and throughout global organizations. Integration of people, software, hardware, data, and communication technologies to create competitive advantage. Information technology as enabler of process improvement in quality, flexibility, and speed and as facilitator of decision-making. Application software prevalent or emerging in organizations. Hands-on practice with spreadsheet, database, analytics, and other leading software applications.
