ECE 245 - Communications Engineering

Prerequisite: ECE 134  or equivalent, ENGR 206  
Modulation theory; statistical properties of information signals and noise; binary and M-ary modulation schemes and receivers for digital and analog messages; performances in the presence of noise; transmission over bandlimited channels and intersymbol interference; vector space representations; communication design considerations.
