ECE 249 - Advanced Communications Engineering

Prerequisite: ECE 134  or equivalent, ENGR 206  
Information theory; source coding; channel coding theorems; models for communication channels; theory of error control coding; block and convolutional codes; decoding algorithms; coding for bandlimited, noisy and distorting channels; performance improvements o coded communication systems; design applications to wireless systems.
